Overview of aluminum standards for glass bottle caps

1 Scope

This agreement stipulates the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and packaging, marking, transportation and storage of aluminum and aluminum alloy plates and strips for bottle caps.

This agreement applies to aluminum and aluminum alloy plates and strips for bottle caps.

2, reference standards

The provisions contained in the following standards, which are incorporated into this Agreement, constitute the provisions of this Agreement.

GB 228 tensile test method

GB/T3190 deformed aluminum and aluminum alloy chemical composition

3, the contents of the contract

The contract for ordering the materials listed in this agreement shall include the following contents

a) material name;

b) alloy grades;

c) material status;

d) material specifications;

e) weight (or number of pieces);

f) the agreement number;

g) Uses and special requirements.

4, requirements

4.1 Brand, status, classification

Product brand, status, and classification should meet the requirements of Table 1.

Note: 1. If other alloys, conditions, and specifications of strips are required, the supply and demand sides may negotiate separately and specify in the contract.

2. When 3003 alloy is supplied, “S” or “3003S” should be added after the alloy number.

4.2 Tag Examples

In the H26 state made of 8011 alloy, a strip with a thickness of 0.23 mm and a width of 610 mm is marked with:

4.3 Chemical composition

The chemical composition of boards and strips shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 3190.

4.4 Dimensions and Allowable Deviations

4.4.1 Thickness tolerance

The allowable thickness deviation of the strip is: ±0.01mm.

4.4.2 Width tolerance

Plate width tolerances should meet the requirements of Table 2.

4.4.3 Allowable deviation of plate length: +2mm.

4.4.4 The outer diameter of the strip shall be in accordance with the contract.

4.4.5 The diagonal deviation of the plate is not more than 1mm.

4.5 Mechanical properties

The mechanical properties of plates and strips are to comply with the requirements of Table 3.

4.6 Plates, strips, cups, ear rate of not more than 3%.

4.7 appearance quality

4.7.1 Cracks, corrosion, and cracks are not allowed on the surface of the plate or strip.

Note: When other mechanical properties are required, the supplier and the buyer must negotiate and indicate in the contract.

4.7.2 The surface of the board and strip may be slightly scratched, loosely dendritic, metal and non-metallic indentation, and scratches.

4.7.3 The inner surface of the strip is allowed to have scratches.

4.7.4 Strips should be wound tightly and loose layers are not allowed. The dislocation is not more than 5mm, the tower shape is not more than 20mm (except the inner 7 circles)



5 test methods

5.1 Chemical Composition Arbitration Analysis Method

Arbitration analysis methods for the chemical composition of plates and strips were carried out according to GB6987.

5.2 Room temperature mechanical properties test methods

Test methods for room temperature mechanical properties of plates and strips shall be carried out in accordance with GB 228.

5.3 Thickness Measurement Method

Measure with a gauge that guarantees accuracy.

5.4 Cup test method shall comply with the provisions of GB5125.

The surface quality was visually inspected.

6 inspection rules

6.1 Inspection and Acceptance

Boards and strips shall be checked and accepted by the supplier's technical supervision department, and the quality of the products shall comply with the requirements of this agreement.

6.2 Batches

Plates and strips shall be submitted for acceptance in batches. Each batch shall consist of the same alloy, the same state and specifications, and the batch weight shall not be limited.

6.3 Inspection items

Each batch of plates and strips should be inspected for shape, dimensional deviations, surface quality and mechanical properties and deep drawing properties.

6.4 sampling position and number of samples

6.4.1 Inspection of appearance, dimensions and surface quality shall be random sampling.

6.4.2 Take no less than two rolls from each batch of large rolls, each taking one longitudinal tensile test specimen and one cup specimen.

6.5 Repeat test



When one of the test results of the performance test is unsatisfactory, double the number of samples from the failed roll shall be repeated for repeated tests. If there is still one unqualified result of the retest, the roll is not qualified. Test by volume, qualified delivery.

7 signs, packaging, transportation, storage

7.1 Logo

7.1.1 There should be obvious transporting placards (or labels) on each packing box.

7.1.2 Each roll should be labeled with the label:

7.2 Packaging, Transport and Storage

7.2.1 Packaging method The method is set by the manufacturer, but it must be ensured that the tape will not be damaged during transportation. The strip should be stated in the contract whether it is standing or lying.

7.2.2 Other relevant provisions of the packaging shall comply with the provisions of the GB/T3199 standard.

7.3 Quality Certificate

Each batch of plates and strips shall be accompanied by a certificate of quality that meets the requirements of this agreement. It states:

a, supplier name;

b, alloy brand;

c, supply status;

d, weight;

e, specifications;

f, batch number;

g, mechanical performance test results;

h, packing date;

i. The agreement number.

1. This agreement is prepared in accordance with the provisions of GB/T1.1 and GB1.3.

2. This agreement applies to aluminum and aluminum alloy plates and strips for bottle caps.

3, reference standards

The reference standard of this agreement does not indicate the chronological number. It is the latest version of each standard.

4, brand status

This agreement adopts the four-digit representation method and chemical composition in GB/T3190-1996 "Deformed Aluminum and Aluminum Alloy Chemical Composition". The status in this agreement is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T16475-1996 "Deformed Aluminum and Aluminum Alloy Status Codes."
