A large amount of wood and furniture in the factory
On August 12th, at 10:27 am yesterday, a simple fire-fighting furniture factory in Chun'an Town, Zhangpu County burst into flames. Mr. Cai’s home is less than 50 meters away from the fire factory. The fire factory is located behind the dormitory building of the Zhangpu Frontier Defense Brigade. After receiving the police, the Zhangpu County Public Security Fire Brigade dispatched five water tank fire trucks and more than 30 fire officers and soldiers. The neighboring Zhangpu County border guards and armed police officers and men have evacuated nearly 100 residents.
The fire-fighting furniture factory is simply covered with bamboo and asbestos tiles. When the fire rescued, the blazing fire had completely burnt the asbestos tile roof. In the factory, a large amount of wood, furniture and paints burned quickly, black smoke rolled, and heat waves hit people.
The fire officers and soldiers were divided into four groups, which were wrapped around the fire and launched a siege. In each water gun position, a high-pressure water gun suppresses the open flame, and another flowering water gun fires the pouring part.
After about 90 minutes of fighting, the fire officers and soldiers gradually controlled the fire. Subsequently, they adjusted the fire-fighting strategy. A group of three entered the fire and used the fire hook to open the ruins. After nearly three hours, the residual fire was gradually eliminated, and the fire did not cause any casualties.
It is understood that at the time of the incident, one worker in the furniture factory was conducting electric welding work. According to preliminary investigations by the safety supervision department of Zhangpu County, the fire may be caused by sparks generated during the welding process to ignite combustible materials. The specific reasons have yet to be investigated and verified.
