2.3 Effective measures to reduce core lamination and separation

The lamination and separation of the core sheets has always been a major defect of the finished plywood. As a thin wood veneer substrate, the 3 mm board is required to be higher, because the thin wood veneer is now only 0.12 to 0. 20 mm. As long as the core board has slight overlap and separation, it will lead to the lowering or scrapping of the veneer. Therefore, it is necessary to strictly control the lamination and separation of the core sheets in the first and second repairs of the core board to ensure the quality of the finished board.

2 .3 .1 In the first repair of the core board, it is first necessary to check whether the core sheets spliced ​​by each of the slabs are firmly bonded. If there is a weak bond, The core plate in which the loose frame occurs should be disassembled according to the degree of the loose frame or adhered with the wet adhesive tape. Otherwise, it will fall apart when the glue is applied, resulting in serious core lamination and separation. Secondly, it is necessary to check whether there is overlap and separation between the sheets. When overlapping, the sheets should be cut with a blade to remove the sheets, and the overlap is eliminated, and the wet adhesive tape is used to stick. When there is a slit, it is fixed with a wet adhesive tape after the gap between the two panel sheets is tightened.

2 .3 . 2 In the second repair of the core board, the treatment of the core lamination and the separation of the core will determine the final quality of the finished board. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out detailed inspection on each core plate gap, and find that when there is overlap of the core plates, the repairing knife is used for cutting. When the operation, the repairing knife should be kept sharp, and the operator should hold the knife vertically, moderately, and quickly move the core plate. The overlapping part is cut off, so that the cutting edge is smooth and flat, the line is straight, and the gap generated after cutting should be controlled within 0.5 mm. For the core plate which is not bonded well to the bottom plate, the gap between 0.3 and 0.5 min is left after the overlap and overlap, so as to prevent the core plate from absorbing and expanding during the second layer of the glue to reproduce the overlap. For the core plate, the gap is treated by the strip. When the seam is larger than 2cm, the same material property is selected, and the thickness is used to fill the plate with the stripper, and the patch is added to the seam. The gap is slightly smaller, leaving a gap between the water and the expansion of the strip, which prevents the core sheets from overlapping due to the expansion of the strip, and sticks to the core board with a sticky adhesive tape to prevent it from falling off or shifting.

3 Effect after taking control measures

By training operators to understand and deal with various core defect defects, and adopting three effective measures to control the uneven thickness of the core plate, reduce the surface roughness of the core plate and reduce the lamination and separation of the core plate, the product quality is significantly improved. (As shown in Table 2), the percentage of total core board defects decreased from 59.0% to 36.3%; the thickness decreased by 3.85%, the thickness of the core board was uneven, the surface of the core board was rough, and the core board was laminated and separated. The percentages were reduced by 3 3.7%, 39.3%, and 53.5%, respectively.
