The glass reactor operates based on a unique design featuring a double-layered glass structure. This allows the reaction material to be placed in the middle interlayer—often referred to as the reaction solvent—where it can be stirred under either normal or reduced pressure. By circulating the medium in the interlayer (such as chilled liquid, heated water, or heating oil), the reactor achieves effective heating or cooling. This makes it an essential tool in modern biochemical and new material synthesis experiments.
In terms of materials and technical features, the glass reactor is constructed using G3.3 borosilicate glass, known for its excellent thermal and chemical stability. Even under high torque conditions during mixing, it remains stable without generating sparks. All components are sealed with PTFE, ensuring a strong vacuum of up to -0.095 MPa, which is superior to many similar products on the market. The reactor also includes a debris collection tank for added convenience.
The mechanical seal is made from alloy steel, while Teflon joints ensure high-precision sealing during operation. The motor uses Japanese AC gear technology, providing strong torque and quiet operation.
Additionally, the reactor is fitted with a double tetrafluoroethylene stirring paddle, making it suitable for mixing liquids with varying viscosities—from low to high.
