Jinyun Laser Handles International Giants to Push 3D Printing Online Service Platform

Materialise, a leading name in the 3D printing industry listed on NASDAQ under the ticker MTLS, has now set its sights on the Chinese market. The collaboration partner is GEM-listed company Jinyun Laser (stock code: 300220), marking a significant step in expanding Materialise’s global footprint.

On June 24, Jinyun Laser officially signed a "Strategic Cooperation Agreement" with Belgium-based Materialise. Through this partnership, the Yizhuang.com platform, operated by Jinyun Laser, will help promote the i.materialise brand across mainland China, as well as Hong Kong and Macao. This collaboration aims to bring advanced 3D printing services and technologies to a broader audience in the region.

As part of the agreement, Jinyun Laser will be authorized to offer 3D printing and shipping services to customers, while also receiving a number of technology licenses from Materialise. This move is expected to enhance service delivery and support for users in China.

Materialise has also committed to providing training and consulting services to ensure that customers can effectively utilize the i.materialise online platform. These services will be integrated with the Additive Manufacturing Center of Golden Laser, helping streamline production operations and management. The full integration of the i.materialise-innovation-web-based system is expected to be completed by the third quarter of this year.

It's worth noting that Materialise has been a pioneer in 3D modeling, data repair systems, and software development since its inception. After more than 25 years of growth, the company has become a key player in the additive manufacturing sector, offering comprehensive 3D printing solutions for medical, industrial, and consumer markets. Its i.materialise online platform is currently considered one of the most professional in the world.

Jinyun Laser launched the “3D Printing Cloud Factory Plan” in the second half of 2013, and its “Italian Network” was officially launched in June 2014. Since then, the company has been actively integrating resources to build the “Golden Movement·3D+ Platform,” which includes three main components: a cloud factory, an online platform, and offline experience stores and design clubs.

Yizhuang.com, as a new platform for Jinyun Laser, has already partnered with several major platforms and manufacturers since its launch in June 2014. It currently has around 150,000 members and sees about 20,000 daily visits. By the end of the third quarter of 2015, Jinyun and Materialise plan to complete the technical preparations for front-end and back-end software connections, aiming for a seamless user interface by the end of the year.

Liang Yun, Chairman of Jinyun Laser, emphasized that the company's own 3D printing online platform will form a strategic partnership with i.materialise in China. This collaboration aims to deepen technological integration, expand the application fields of 3D printing, and strengthen the competitive edge in the online service platform space.

In fact, this isn't the first time Jinyun Laser has partnered with global leaders in the 3D printing industry. Previously, it had collaborations with EOS, 3D Systems, and Stratasys—three of the top names in the field. These partnerships have helped address the shortage of domestic 3D printing equipment and materials, while also providing the most comprehensive industry solutions for 3D printing.
