G7 calibration and document processing workflow (1)

A complete G7 calibration and document processing workflow includes the following steps:

Prepare equipment and materials

The first step is to ensure that the equipment that needs to be calibrated is operated in accordance with operating standards and specifications, and that the materials are required to be regular products.

Printing calibration proofs

The second step is to print standardized GRACOL P2P proofs on standard paper. The paper can use ISO1 # coated paper and basic color inks. The sample sheet can briefly describe the actual NPDC and gray balance of the equipment to be calibrated.

Compare actual NPDC with reference NPDC

The third step is to compare the NPDC of the calibration sample with the preset G7 NPDC curve. The comparison can be made by measuring the two gray scales on the P2P chart. Among the two scales, one is CMY tricolor and the other is black. Draw charts on G7 chart paper, or you can input measurement data into IDELINKTM curve drawing software.

Comparison of actual gray balance and reference gray balance

You can use GrayFinder to compare the gray balance of the device, and also use the IDELINKTM curve drawing software to automatically compare.
