Operation steps and procedures of rapid moisture analyzer

Operation Procedure of Quick Moisture Analyzer

1. Purpose: To ensure the standardization of operation using the rapid moisture analyzer.

2. Scope: Applicable to the operators of quality inspection department and warehousing department.

3. Responsibilities: Quality control personnel, maintenance personnel, and acceptance personnel are responsible for the implementation of this procedure.

4. Regulations:

4.1 Drying

4.1.1 All the weighing pans to be used are leaned against the walls on both sides of the heating chamber.

4.1.2 Turn on the power and turn on the infrared light for about 5 minutes.

4.1.3 Turn off the infrared lamp and cool to room temperature.

4.2 Weighing method

4.2.1 After the instrument has been dried and cooled to room temperature, adjust the zero position with a 10 gram weight, weigh the sample on the instrument, weigh the sample according to the selected quantitative value, and place it on a spare weighing pan or In other containers.

4.2.2 Use other balances with an accuracy of not less than 5 mg.

4.3 Preheating and zero adjustment

4.3.1 Add 10 grams of weight to the weighing pan without placing the sample in the weighing pan.

4.3.2 About 20 minutes after turning on the balance and the infrared lamp, the score line on the projection screen no longer moves, and adjust the zero position.

4.4 Heating test

4.4.1 Remove the 10 gram weight and pour the pre-weighed sample into the weighing pan evenly. When using a sample under 10 grams, add an appropriate amount of balance weight in the over yard pan, then turn on the balance and Infrared lamp to heat the sample.

4.4.2 After heating for a certain period of time, the reticle moves to stand still. At this time, the data is read out and recorded.

4.4.3 When the water loss of the sample is not greater than 1 g, and a quantitative sample of 10 g or 5 g is used, the moisture content of the sample can be directly read in the projection screen.

4.4.4 When the water loss of the sample is greater than 1 gram, the balance can be turned off, add an appropriate amount of weight in the code-adding tray, and continue the test.

4.4.5 To adjust the voltage of infrared lamps, users should select different voltages for each sample.

4.5 Reading and calculation

4.5.1 The effective number of scales is 200 divisions (not including the auxiliary lines at both ends), and its left and right are divided into three groups of values in the vertical direction. According to different sampling weights or usage methods, it represents three different values.

4.5.1.1 The first group from the left is used for determination using a 10 gram quantitative sample. The division value is 0.05%, and the total of 200 divisions is 10%.

4.5.1.2 The second group from the left is used for the measurement using a 5 gram quantitative sample. The division value is 0.1%, and the total of 200 divisions is 20%.

4.5.1.3 The first group from the right is used for sampling and measurement using samples of any weight less than 10 grams. The division value is 0.005 grams, and the total of 200 divisions is 1 gram.

4.5.2 When the water loss is greater than 1 gram and a weight has been added to the code-adding disc, it shall be calculated together with the value of the projection screen.

4.5.2.1 When using a quantitative determination method of 10 g or 5 g

4.6 Precautions

4.6.1 After opening the instrument door during heating, the door must be closed and heated for about 2 minutes before reading.

4.6.2 The instrument workbench should be stable and have seismic isolation measures.

4.6.3 When the instrument is not used for a long time, the desiccant should be placed in the instrument.

4.6.4 When the balance is open and in working condition, the sample or weight cannot be placed on the weighing pan, the instrument door cannot be opened or closed or other actions that can cause the balance to vibrate.

4.6.5 The instrument should always be kept clean. To clean the optical parts, use a soft brush to remove dust, then use a clean soft cloth dipped in clean pure alcohol to gently wipe the unclean places, and then wipe dry with lens cleaning paper.

4.6.6 The weights must be taken with weight pliers and put back in the original weight box immediately after use.

4.7 Use status registration.
