3. Use a neutral cleaning agent, such as soapy water, to clean the centrifuge dust and residual samples, but toxic and radioactive materials should be treated specially.
4. If it is found that the rotor is corroded and cracked, it should be replaced immediately. The rotor, hanging basket and casing must be regularly maintained with a special varnish (70104) to avoid corrosion, and the shaft, hanging lug and other parts should be lubricated with lubricating oil (70284);
5. Turn the head, hanging basket, casing, etc., after use, wipe them dry and put them separately.
6. If the glass tube breaks during the centrifugation process, the debris in the centrifuge cavity and casing should be removed, otherwise the centrifuge will be damaged. A layer of petroleum jelly can be coated on the upper part of the cavity, and the rotor can be operated for several minutes, and the debris can be easily removed together with petroleum jelly.
7. Regularly use compressed air (vacuum cleaner) to remove the dust on the heat sink at the rear of the centrifuge.
8. The centrifuge can be disinfected with the usual disinfectant.
9. Safety matters for the operator: the rotor should be fixed in the correct position, the fixing screws should be tightened, whether there are cracks and corrosion in the rotor and other accessories, and the ground wire is in contact.
10. Emergency lid opening: If the lid cannot be opened, the lid can be opened manually.
