Voice of the Future: 3D printed instruments play gorgeous music

Rigidity is beautiful and always gives us a healing experience. Monad Studio, an architectural practice studio from Florida, is a team that designs and creates around sound, covering everything from architecture, urban planning, landscapes to art installations and product design.

The "MULTI" project is made up of five new 3D printed instruments, which they worked with musician and guitarist Scott F. Hall. These five instruments include: two-string piezoelectric violin, one-string electroacoustic travel bass guitar or Monobarasitar, one-string piezoelectric Monoviolocellello (similar to cello), small Didieridoo tube and Hornucopian bass tube, each of which took 3 to 6 months time. All instruments in 3D printing present a seamless organic beauty. Source: 3ders.org
