Zigzag corrugated cardboard cushioning liner

In recent years, the electrical and mechanical product manufacturing industry has responded to the needs of environmental protection by replacing cushioned styrene with paper cushion cushions. Among these, the use of corrugated cardboard as a buffer is an inexpensive and convenient alternative, and has also been widely used. After hard work, many achievements have been made in the development of corrugated board cushions, and various products have been developed and applied. Corrugated cardboard is used as a cushioning item and is often bent into "works", usually pressed into two straight lines. Now we are making a zigzag shape, as shown in Figure 1 (slightly). This sawtooth-shaped corrugated board cushioning product has three major advantages over conventional products.
(1) It can effectively prevent the products in the package from being subjected to external impact or falling;
(2) under normal circumstances can avoid the packaged goods and buffer from detachment or loosening;
(3) Easy to make. This buffer design and practical use have been fully realized in the packaging of LCD monitors manufactured by Sony Corporation. Sony, which has always been known for its rigorous, is innovative in its new liquid crystal display packaging adopts this approach, not only packaging its products. The design has its own uniqueness and won the Japan Packaging Technology Association's electrical packaging design award. At the same time, the product has won the praise and praise of the community. In order to further verify the performance of the zigzag corrugated board cushion and perform technical scientific analysis, we conducted a series of tests with different weight loads. The results are as follows:

The data shows that as the weight increases, the impact value is reduced. When the load weight reaches 10 kg, the impact value also decreases, and the deformation amount reaches 12.2 mm, which is very bad for the damage of the buffer. Obviously, loads of 2-5 kg ​​are more appropriate. Then, if the item is more than 10 kilograms in load, can it not be used at all? Nor is it also feasible to make appropriate modifications to the corrugated board grade and buffer structure.
Now, the application of zigzag corrugated cardboard cushioning products as corrugated paperboard as cushioning articles is considered as a better structure and method recommended to packaging industry colleagues. As long as we adapt to the trend of social environmental protection, we can follow the trend and compare with other buffers. Products, corrugated board will get more and more extensive applications.
