Polyamide Gravure Printing Inks

Polyamide resin, commonly known as nylon. Is a polyacid and polyamine condensation reaction. Polyamide resins are reactive and non-reactive. The reaction type is liquid or semi-liquid, and the second material (bisphenol A epoxy resin) must be added before use to become solid. Non-reactive thermoplastic resins can be made by themselves. Non-reactive polyamide resins are mainly used in the production of printing inks. It is used to formulate solvent-based flexible letterpress inks and photogravure inks for the printing of plastic films, which have the advantages of strong adhesion and good dryness. The disadvantages are high cost and poor solubility. Most polyamide resins are insoluble in ethanol and must be fully dissolved with a mixture of toluene, isopropyl alcohol, and ethanol. Alcohol-soluble polyacrylic resin, the appearance of light yellow, bright and transparent, acid value is less than 6, the amine is less than 5, ring and ball softening point 107 ± 3 °C, with 30% alcohol, ester mixed solution, stirring at room temperature for 2 hours to dissolve . Viscosity 25-50 centipoise (25°C) for 24 hours without freezing, adapts to fast gravure and flexo
