1 characteristics of simulation printing paste

The printing paste used in the simulation printing is a cover printing paste, which has the following features.

(1) It has excellent hiding power and can print in deep colors (navy blue, black fabric, denim), and the product has similar effect to discharge printing.

(2) It has excellent film forming properties, and the film is soft, smooth, elastic and glossy.

(3) The compatibility of the color paint is good, and the fabric has good fastness after printing, it is not easy to plug the net, and the equipment is easy to clean.

(4) Light resistance, heat resistance, aging resistance, non-yellowing, good mechanical stability and storage stability.

2 composition of simulation printing paste

The embossed printing paste is divided into two categories according to whether the fabric is elastic or not, and it can be divided into a general glue and an elastic glue, and various types can be divided into a white glue and a colored glue. The main composition of colored glue is as follows (g):

Adhesive emulsion 40--45

Plasticizers 15--20

Emulsifier 3--5

Dispersing agent 1.5--2

Titanium Dioxide 10--15

Packing 15~25

(1) The binder emulsion plays an important role in the glue. Whether the fabric has elasticity or not and the feel and fastness after printing are determined by the binder emulsion.

(2) Plasticizer is the characteristic raw material of glue. It can reduce the migration of printing paste and make the outline of the pattern clear.

(3) Emulsifiers and dispersants can improve the dispersion stability of titanium dioxide and fillers.

(4) Titanium dioxide is the main factor that determines the hiding power of the glue.

3 simulation printing process technology

(1) Process flow: direct printing → drying → heat treatment → calendering (if necessary).

(2) Process conditions: Simulation printing is generally performed on deep colors, and the selected color mortar has good hiding power and can be mixed with transparent glue. The printed fabric must have three-dimensional thickness, softness, smoothness and elasticity, and the pattern cannot be broken. Such as the printed crocodile skin is shiny, baking can be used after the calendering process.
