Crio Printing Company is a printing company headquartered in Tokyo, manufacturing plant in Nara. In the fall of 2004, the company demonstrated to its peers in Japan that it had introduced the first ROLAND 900 press in Japan. This press can print directly on the slightly corrugated cardboard. The blanket cylinder and the impression cylinder of this machine are specially designed to ensure that a satisfactory pattern is printed without damaging the crucible shape of the corrugated cardboard.
The 5-color ROLAND 900 press with a UV coating unit printed a box for two wines, both of which were from the MAN Group's own St. Anthony vineyard. This can be considered an out-and-out product of Man. The ROLAND 900 press can perform quick job conversions, thanks to the PPL (Power Plate Plate) changeover system installed on the device. The overall coating of the box is carried out on the fifth color group of the printing press, and an off-line glazing has to be performed afterwards in order to obtain the relief effect.
