Adding titanium in a pure zinc bath produces a zinc-titanium alloy coated silicon-containing steel plate. Through tafel polarization and electrochemical impedance measurement, the corrosion electrochemical behavior in w = 5% NaCl aqueous solution was studied and compared with hot-dip pure zinc-coated steel plate. The results show that the polarization resistance and AC impedance of the zinc-titanium alloy coated steel plate increase, the corrosion current density decreases, and the corrosion resistance improves.
