Germany recycles old money into methanol

After the euro officially became the circulation currency used by the 12 European countries, most of the paper money originally used in these countries was sent to the incinerator for destruction. However, in Germany, there is a factory that uses discarded marks to make it into an industrial process. The use of alcohol fully confirms the principle of waste regeneration.

This factory collects unnecessary banknotes from the Central Bank each day, and then processes them. After special treatment, the waste paper can be turned into industrial alcohol.
