Why does a single package of candy use anti-static PET

1. The single package of candy uses anti-static PET, its purpose is to prevent static electricity generated during the packaging process.
1) PET (12)//VM-CPP (25) is often used for single-package substrates. If the substrate generates static sparks during transportation, it will leave sparks on the film and affect the appearance quality. Especially in the composition of PET(12)//VM-CPP(25), the spark marks are particularly noticeable with the aluminum-plated surface.
2) When the film is fed halfway, the candy supply is temporarily interrupted and the empty bag will not stick to the device.
3) When the operator handles the plastic box filled with individual packaged candy, it will not generate sparks due to static electricity.
4) Improve smoothness and adapt to high-speed packaging equipment.
2. Not all candies are packaged with anti-chicken PET.
1) The packaging equipment itself is equipped with a static elimination device that generates no static electricity.
2) Even if sparks are produced, there is no protection against packaging. There is also a transparent structure (PET(12)/CPP(25), etc.) and the spark marks are inconspicuous.
3. Why can PET packaging be used in single packaging? Confectionery can be used in single-shelf canned packaging machines. The production speed is faster and faster, and the capacity can reach 900 pcs/min. Packaging at such high speeds requires a high heat seal temperature and a short heat seal time. Films such as OPP are heat-sealed at high temperatures, the film shrinks, and the appearance is not beautiful. Therefore, a PET film is often used as a surface layer base material.
4. Packaging Features Candy is made from sugar and sugar syrup and boiled. It is quite sensitive to moisture. Absorption will cause the surface to stick and white until the sugar precipitates. Therefore, the most critical characteristic of candy packaging is moisture resistance.
Due to the fact that most of the sweets are individually packaged and processed on high-speed automatic packaging (400 pcs/min), the substrate must have high temperature resistance and processability.
In the packaging substrate composition, CPP should be used to increase the hot tack and the stiffness of the single package.
To be suitable for high-speed packaging production lines, although LDPE and EVA with good low-temperature heat-sealing properties can be used, the stiffness of the products is deteriorated, and there is also a problem in hot tackiness.
