1. Reasonable Selection of Electro-Aluminum Selection Electro-aluminum must be carefully matched with the hot stamping substrate. 2. Determination of Hot Stamping Process Conditions Appropriate stamping pressure, hot stamping temperature and hot stamping time are three prerequisites for good stamping quality. Hot stamping temperature and hot stamping time can be coordinated within a certain range. For example, when the hot stamping temperature is slightly lower, it can be compensated by reducing the stamping time. When the hot stamping temperature is slightly higher, it can be matched by reducing the stamping time. At present, neither the materials used in hot stamping in China nor the hot stamping process are standardized. As there are no provisions in this area, there are many printing companies that are very random when processing. The strict management of the printing plant will, after a period of practice, find out a set of suitable process conditions for the factory: experienced stamping workers who have accumulated attention can also pass water by hand even without a temperature indicator. Quickly touch the plate to determine if the stamping temperature is appropriate. The adjustment of hot stamping pressure should be flexibly controlled according to the layout. Large areas of hot stamping require greater pressure, while fine text and lines require less pressure. When the same layout has both a large area of ​​hot stamping and a small text to be stamped, it is possible to perform partial pressure compensation by means of a pad to take into account both. If layout factors are not taken into consideration, the entire plate is stamped with the same pressure, which will inevitably result in a large area of ​​hot stamping with fine text stencils, or fine text stamping with clear and large areas of hot stamping.
3. Selection and Processing of Hot Stamping Plates The hot stamping plate is best made of red copper because red copper has better heat dissipation and heat transfer properties. It is a neutral material in metals and is neither too soft nor too hard. Easy to process, with a certain degree of elasticity, and high resistance to printing force, generally up to 50,000 impressions.
Many domestic printers are still using zinc or aluminum to make hot stamps because of the low cost of zinc processing. Some small printers do not even know that there is a red hot stamping version. In fact, for a hot stamping version, the processing cost of the zinc plate is lower, but the zinc plate is too soft. The resistance force is only 5,000 to 6,000 India. 4. Hot stamping equipment The hot stamping equipment currently used in China is varied. However, for the automatic hot stamping machine, since the temperature control of the hot stamping machine is controlled by the thermostat, the operating speed of the equipment is preset, and the operator can only know the hot stamping temperature state through the meter display on the device panel, and it is difficult to perform hot stamping at any time.
