Book-bundling uses a different stacking solution consisting of two ST 420/120 baled stacking devices to form a 1200 mm thick book bundle. This stacker is designed for fast web printing equipment and can quickly produce book bundles in seconds. In Pozzoni, the stacker is also equipped with a fully automatic double baling system: when the first baling unit breaks down, it is automatically started as a back-up second baling unit, guaranteeing a good packaging process and production The continuity of the process.

The bundles from the two ST 420/120 bale stackers and the book stacks from the CS 350 offset stacker will be sent together to a single stacking unit: PL-Robot 250 . This stacking robot is installed with other equipment for the production of fully automated stacking processes, including tool conversion and clamping for books and bundles. The PL-Robot 250 has a speed of stacking 144 bundles of books per hour and 800 bags per hour.
